So sorry to hear of Stan's passing but excited that he is in the presence of the Lord! I first knew Stan as Youth Minister at Concord Baptist and then I reunited with him again at the Baptist Student Union at Chattanooga State. He was always laid back and very easy to talk to. He adored his wife and kids. His light in this world will be missed!

Stan was such a blessing to Neil, Natalie and myself. I distinctly remember one sermon at Mt Zion that he preached about God always being with us no matter where we are. A simple message but such a powerful promise. May this promise bring comfort to you all.

We are so sorry about our confusion of location of memorial service. We were told that it would be at First Centenary Methodist in Chattanooga. After reading the address on website, we are even more saddened that we will be unable to see you all. We love you guys and will pray even harder for your whole family.

Stan now fully united with God, I should remind myself was (is) one of the kindest people I have ever known. In fact, remembering him, I can only picture his face with a smile. I worked for him in 1998 at the Hamilton County Baptist Association, for a summer. Perhaps I am only now realizing how much positive influence he had on me and my future. Thank you Stan.

I thought a lot of his Father he and Marshall Young would drive around the Neighbor Hood and pick all the boys up and take us to where ever to Play Baseball. I will never forget them. Stan was and is such an inspiration! As my youth minister growing up at Concord Baptist in Chattanooga, and later as my boss as a summer missionary for the Hamilton County Baptist Association, Stan stood tall for me and countless others as a terrific role model of what a good person looks like and how that good person can contribute in the community and the world. Sending all my love and thoughts to his family in this time of sadness. Stan is missed and certainly loved!

Bridget and family, You are in our hearts and prayers during this most difficult time. Stan was such a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. I will always remember his smile, caring, sense of humor, and, most of all, his love for God and people. We had a lot of great times at the BSU at UTC. May God comfort you all with the great memories of Stan and special times with Stan.
