James Ogborn Obituary

Published by Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home, Inc. on Dec. 2, 2018.
James H. Ogborn ('Frog'), 71, of Washington Crossing, passed away on December 2, 2018. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1967, and served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. James enjoyed creating works of art from natural items. He had a great sense of humor and was an independent thinker who marched to his own drum…a true non-conformist. He also loved music and enjoyed attending concerts. James is survived by his wife Carolyn, his children Darius (Nicole), Jessica (Jarvis), Lauren, and Justin (Madeline), his stepson Eric (Tessa), his grandchildren Dillon, Lovea, Justice, and Harmony, his brothers Jeff and Orton, his sister Elaine, and several nieces and nephews. James was registered with the Gift of Life organ donation program. In his death, he saved lives. Relatives and friends are invited to James' Life Celebration on Friday, December 7th, from 8:00am to 9:00am, at Swartz Givnish of Newtown, 323 E. Washington Avenue, where a service will be held at 9:00am. Interment will follow at 10:30am in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.

Always nice...never a harsh word. One of the Crossing guys. We will all carry fond memories of you in our hearts. Lots of fun times back in the day.

We had so many good times together in our teens, went cruising, hung out at Rubes, shooting pool, skating on the pond. One of the Crossing Boys. Rest In Peace, Jim, I remember your signature quote, cut me a break. I'll never forget you
