Helen T. Nausbaum

Helen T. Nausbaum, 92, of Wilson Borough, PA, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 at her home.
Born May 3, 1926, in Harrisburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Bryan and Marie (McDermott) Kane.
Her husband, Charles C. Nausbaum, died April 6, 2007.
Helen was primarily a homemaker. She had worked part-time at the former Orr's and Hess's, both in Easton.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
Helen was also a member of the Wilson Borough Council and a loyal patron of Meuser Pool where she enjoyed sunbathing with her friends. She had bowled in leagues at Bar-Don Lanes.
Surviving are a son, Charles Nausbaum, Jr. and his wife, Holly, of Gladys, VA; two sisters, Joan Kane, of Hull, MA, and Gertrude Stoneback, of Cinnaminson Township, NJ; four grandchildren, John and Maureen Simonetta, Charles and Thomas Nausbaum and a great-granddaughter, Eleanor Jane Simonetta. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Ann Simonetta; a brother, James Kane and two sisters, Mary "Sis" Kane and Margaret "Peg" Phelan.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Palmer Township, PA. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, #170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.

I met Helen at Meuser Pool - we met there for years and years and spent hours upon hours chatting. My only regret being that we lost touch over time. She was such a beautiful and loving lady - my sympathy and prayers go out to her entire family - she loved you all so much
