Patti A. Smith

Patti A. Smith, 56, of Loudon, NH died December 27, 2018, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer. Patti was born in Manchester, NH May 7, 1962 to Albert Rivet and Patricia Longval. Patti was a very strong and loving person. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything, and she deeply enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, art and music. Patti is survived by her mother, Patricia Longval; her son Nathan Smith of Loudon; her daughter, Sarah Tahir and husband, Adeel Tahir of Manchester; brother, Albert Rivet, Jr. and wife, Susan of Holderness: sisters, Michelle Rivet and husband, Robert Groulx of Manchester and Angela Giberson of Feeding Hills, MA; her grandchildren, Jamison Smith of Santa Barbara, CA, Latrell Grimes of Manchester, and Zain and Eliza Tahir of Manchester; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Albert Rivet, Sr. Per Patti's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Her cremated remains will be interred in the spring and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CRVNA Hospice House, The Slusser Center, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301.
