Wayne Hoblit, 95, of Lincoln passed away on December 28, 2018. He was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota , on February 23, 1923, to Morley and Genevieve Hoblit.
Wayne was a member and former president of the Colusa Rotary Club, a founding committee member of building the Colusa Golf Course where he was a former president, along with founding the Colusa Airport, State Park, Racquet Club, and a member of the Ford National Dealer Council. Wayne loved flying and spending time with his loved ones.
Wayne is survived by his partner, Bonnie Grussenmeyer; daughter, Beverly (Dick) Armocido of Colusa; son, David (Beth) Hoblit of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Marilyn Hoblit of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Kimberly, Lindee, Ryan, Chris, Chad, Kevin, Whitney, Jarrod, Lauren; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Blake, Mason, Reagann, Owen, Allie, Rose, Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Virginia Hoblit; and brother, Clair Hoblit.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at the McNary-Moore Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., on January 4, 2019, at the Colusa Golf Club, 2224 State Highway 20, Colusa, CA 95932.
Donations can be made in Wayne's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, Colusa Rotary Foundation, Colusa Redhawk Foundation, Colusa High School, 901 Colusa Ave., Colusa, California 95932, or charity of your choice.

What a great life Wayne had. From WWII pilot to the Hoblit dealerships. I can't count how many cars i have purchased from Wayne over the years - at least 20. Every time was a pleasure. Always a man of his word. Prayers for his family.
