Ethel Grace Webre, 92, a native of Belle Alliance, La., and resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019.
A visitation will be held in her honor from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her loving grandniece and goddaughter, Michelle Parro (Randy) and their daughter, Caroline Martin (Christopher); grandnephew, Darren Theriot and wife (and caregiver), Mary Beth Theriot and their children, Stacy, Jude, and Emily; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and loving neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carrol Joseph Webre; mother, Elnora Marie Ruiz; father, Alfred Joseph Ruiz; and siblings, Gladys Ruiz LeBooeuf, Horace Ruiz, Burleigh Ruiz, Warren Ruiz, Herbert Ruiz, Roland Ruiz and Alfred Jr. (infant).
She was a parishioner of St. Genevieve Catholic Church.

Sending my deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the family. Mrs. Ethel was a very sweet lady and im glad I had the pleasure to know her. She will be deeply missed.

Miss Ethel was a wonderful neighbor to my mother. My husband and I have fond memories of our visits to Thibodaux, which included spending time with Miss Ethel and Mr. Bud. Rest in peace dear friends.
