David Allen Read, 59, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Memorial Services were held at 10:00 Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Our Savoir's Lutheran Church in Seneca, Rev. Kris Zierke officiated.
Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation rites.
David was born December 7, 1959, in Streator, Illinois. He was the son of Mary Ann (Kelly) and Jerry Winsor. He married Patricia Kelley July 19, 1980 in Seneca, Illinois. David was a Union Carpenter for Local 916. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandkids, and friends. His hobbies included boating, flying remote control airplanes, and building. He was best at making everyone laugh and making the most out of life. He will be missed greatly by all.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patty; four children, Seth (Brianne) Read, Jared (Megan) Read, Grant (Vanessa) Read, Savanah (Phil) Jones; eleven grandchildren, Madi, Hudson, Cooper, Oliver, Shepherd, Faye, Clive, Kinser, Mack, Liam, and Stella; his father, Jerry Winsor; four siblings, Dan (Tracy), Mary Lynn (Junior) Cole, Jim (Rhonda), Monica (Joe) Hoelscher; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Winsor.

Dave was a really good friend to Jan and myself we had a lot of great times.
