Jude Oneal Cambre, 80, died on Monday, January 21, 2019 in the presence of his wife and daughter. He was born on May 16, 1938 in Paulina, LA to Oneal and Elsie Naquin Cambre. Jude was married for 56 years to his beloved wife, Linda Poche Cambre. Jude was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by Linda, and daughter, Jessica Cambre Turner and husband, David, of Raceland; grandchildren, Bristol, Colston and Cruz; sisters, Joyce C. Laudin and Bernadette C. Percararo (Joseph); brother Michael Cambre (Beth); sister-in-law, Marie C. Kinler; half-brothers, Bobby and Gary Cambre (Mary) and stepsister, Kathleen Stoker. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Mabel Perque Cambre; brothers, Gerald and Melvin Cambre; sister, Beverly C. Townsend (Robert) and brother-in-law Malcolm Laudin. A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. Joseph Church in Paulina, LA from 11:00 am until A Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM.
