Dear Orso Family,
How good to see you all last night despite the circumstances. As E.J. and I said, your mom and dad and you kids were more like aunt and uncle and cousins to us growing up than just friends. The fun times spent with all of you over the years, and the kindness and love shown to us by both your mom and dad is something I will always treasure, and I know E.J. and Kim will as well.
Your Mom was a special lady; kind, giving, and always a ray of sunshine. A sweeter face never graced the earth. I loved her and I will miss her, even if just her voice on my occasional phone call to her.
It's comforting to know that she's back together with your dad and my parents, Rita and Ed, four best friends reunited forever. Surely they're smiling down upon all of us from God's kingdom, now secure in the knowledge that the lives they lived on earth as loving spouses to each other, and as loving, wonderful parents to all of us, were pleasing to God.
Let's all try to keep in touch as the years go forward. I'm sure they would want that.
Again, my deepest sympathies.
Love,
Tim Stare

Marilyn was a lovely lady who was kind and generous to everyone she met. She and her husband John raised a wonderful, loving family of sons and daughters. She was also very active and involved with their church, St. Thomas the Apostle in Crystal Lake. She will be missed by many, many friends and family. ✝
