Mary E. Nell

East Berlin - Mary Elizabeth Nell, 82 of East Berlin entered into God's eternal care on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019 at Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in York. Born Dec. 28, 1936 in York, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Ruth (Wiley) Nell.

Mary retired from Beneficial Corporation after 42 years of service. She was a graduate of William Penn High School and a member of the Lower Bermudian Lutheran Church, East Berlin.

Mary is survived by a sister Betty Gailey & husband Joseph of Glen Mills, PA, many nieces, nephews, great & great great nieces & nephews and several cousins. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Ebersole and Joyce Milne.

At Mary's request there will be no viewing or funeral. A cremation burial will be at the convenience of the family at Prospect Hill Cemetery, York.

Mary had a love for animals and anyone who would like to make a memorial contribution in her name can do so by donating to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325 and/or York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.

Arrangements were handled by John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. in York.
