Carrie Lea (Seaton) Jones
Evansville, Ind.
Carrie Lea (Seaton) Jones, 85, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at Bethel Manor.
Carrie was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 6, 1933 to the late William and Lavern (Appel) Seaton. She enjoyed crocheting, picture puzzles, and playing clabber. Carrie loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carrie is survived by her daughters, Cindy Burdette (Rick), Cheryl Benedict (Buddy) both of Evansville, IN; sons, Clifford Jones Jr. (Mary), Craig Jones (Linda), and Clay Jones (Susanne) all of Evansville, IN; sister, Bonnie Pace of Evansville, IN; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Carrie was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Clifford Jones; her parents; and brothers, Randall, Norman, and Donald Seaton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home.

Sorry for your loss Clay, Craig, Cliff, Cheryl, & Cindy. Carrie was a strong person and a good Mother. I have fond childhood memories of her and Cliff -- and am sure they are together again, watching over all of you, and your families. May she rest in peace.
