Charles E. Lanier, 88 of Baker, FL passed away peacefully February 16, 2019. Charles, born April 13, 1930, was raised in Seagoville, TX. He is preceded in death, by his wife of 65 years, Corena Brunson Lanier, his parents, Willie Lloyd "Buster" Lanier & Laura Mae Moore, his brother Billy Don Lanier.
Charles is survived by his children- Belinda Lanier Motley/husband Louis, sons, Chuck Lanier/wife Cheryl, Mike Lanier/wife Melanie, and Lloyd Lanier & Special family member Anita Fee. And we cannot forget his beloved puppy & constant companion, Prissy.
8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren --We want to recognize a very special, loving & caring friend, who has become an addition to our family, Addie Johnson. She cared for Dad and Moma, for a number of years.
Charles served in the Army-Air Force at the beginning of his military career and served 20 years, retiring from Air Force in 1968 at Eglin AFB
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from the Chapel at Brackney Funeral Service, beginning at 11am. The family will receive friends beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pyron Chapel Baptist church in Baker.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brackney Funeral Home in Crestview.
