Gayle Elaine Rebuck, 81, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 in the Church of God Home, Carlisle. Gayle was born in Marysville, PA on June 29, 1937, the daughter of the late Wilmont Keller and Marguerite (Snyder) Keller Boyer. She retired after 30+ years of service as a fiscal technician for the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Education in Harrisburg. Gayle was a graduate of Susquenita High School and Central Pennsylvania Business School. She was a member of Aldersgate Church in Mechanicsburg and been attending services at the Church of God Home where she was a resident. She was also a member of the Christian Womens Club of Carlisle. Gayle was an avid Phillies Fan who loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Brenda. She was the widow of Joseph Franklin Rebuck to whom she was married for 52 years. Gayle is survived by two daughters, Jody Lynn Rebuck, of Mechanicsburg, Karen Leigh Mohler,and her husband Gregory Scott Mohler, of Dillsburg, two grandchildren Vanessa Sanderson, of New Cumberland and Tyler Sanderson who is currently employed in Cambodia. Four great-grandchildren, Summer Leigh, Autumn Leigh, Skyler Levy and Christopher Aravis. Gayle is also survived by sister-n-laws: Margaret Jane Wolf, Lois McFeeley and the late, Grace Devore. As well as sisters, Pat Boyer, Jill Speelman and brother, Dan Boyer. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville. Viewings will be held 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday and from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, both in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill. I was sorry to hear of Gayles passing. She would send cards to my mother, Bernice after she went into a nursing home. We belong to Aldersgate and enjoyed many times seeing Gayle and Joe at church. Blessings.
