Julia Logan Donohoe

Julia Logan Donohoe, 80, of Philadelphia, PA resided in Naples, Florida, passed away February 18th, 2019 in the presence of her loving family. Born in Philadelphia PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Martin Donohoe for fifty-seven years. Julia was the only daughter of the late Philip Thomas and Julia Esther Logan (nee Ward). Julia, formerly of Fairmount was a graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School. As a young woman she worked for Bell Telephone and while raising her family she worked for Cigna Life Insurance and Comhar. After retiring to Naples, Florida Julia enjoyed working in retail at Bealls and Chico's. Julia spent her retirement between Philadelphia, PA and Naples, Florida. She enjoyed the Philadelphia String Bands, most recently Quaker City was her favorite. Julia was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. She also enjoyed seeing Broadway shows and dining out in the company of her family and friends. Julia is survived by her daughters Julia Ann Carroll (Patrick), Joann, Kathleen DeTreux (Col. Kenneth USMC, Ret), Ellen Rey (Robert); twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her surviving in-law's include Patsy Steffa, Mary Hauser and Kate Cantwell (James). Relative and friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church 2319 Green Street Philadelphia, PA 19130, Saturday March 9, 2019; Visitation 9:30 AM -11:00 AM, Mass 11:00 AM, Interment Private.
