So sad to hear of Altas passing. I have sweet memories of walks we took almost every evening along with Janet who is also now with Our Dear Lord, and another of Altas friends joined us when she was in town. My husband I spent summers in Parowan and lived in a condo across the street from the cemetery, where we would walk and talk and laugh. She told me colorful, interesting stories about Homer when we would visit his gravesite. She also came to Havasu City in Arizona after we sold our house in Parowan, plus we kept in touch by mail. I loved her Christmas poems! My deepest condolences to the family.

The span of our life is 70 years. Or 80 because of special mightiness. (Psalms 90:10) Alta was blessed with 93 years of special mightiness. Please accept my condolences and may God who binds up the brokenhearted and comforts all who mourn sustain your family during this challenging time. (Isaiah 61:1, 2)
