Margaret Couch Ripley, 84, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, widow of James Irwin Ripley entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 2, 2019. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in North Charleston United Methodist Church, 1125 E. Montague Avenue at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Margaret was born February 16, 1935 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Henry Watkins Couch and Clementine Wyld Couch. She was a homemaker and a member of North Charleston United Methodist Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Frances Tower of Jacksonville, NC, Suzanne Ripley Glenn (Paul) of Goose Creek, SC; sister, Frances Couch of Goose Creek, SC; seven grandchildren, Eliza Bonnett, Diana Bonnett, Mary Ellen Carter (Chris), Barbara Jean Bonnett, Carolyn Tower, Christopher Glenn, Gary Tower; ten great grandchildren, Abi Disbrow, Sarah Bonnett, Samantha Carter, Lauri Carter, Madison Carter, Talan Thompson, Brody Rhinemiller, Gracie Rhinemiller, Analise Brooks, and Marley Savary. Memorials may be made to North Charleston United Methodist Church, 1125 E. Montague Avenue, North Charleston, SC, 29405.

Frances,
Was grieved to hear your sister had passed. Sorry I wasn't able to attend her services, but know that you are in my prayers. She was such a lovely person, and I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to meet her on several occasions. May God comfort you as only He can as you adjust to life without her. Scripture tells us God is closest to the brokenhearted. May your sweet memories of her carry you through this time of grief and adjustment. Know you are loved by your friends and we care about you. call me anytime if I can be of any help or you just need to talk to someone. (843) 408-6237.

Our dear Margaret was a wonderful friend and supportive "choir Buddy." We enjoyed happy lunches together and she shared such happy times singing with her lovely voice in our choir. I know she is singing her best now in that Angel chorus in Heaven. Missing you.

To the family of Ms. Margaret, We are deeply sadden to hear about her passing. Sis and my prayers are with the family. We remember the time when she let Mom (her Cousin) Barbara Tyrrell stay with them when we had the accident in Jacksonville, Fl. She was a sweet lady and will be missed but she is up in heaven with her wings and seeing Mom and Dad and enjoying things again.
