Ms. Lorene J. Posey transitioned peacefully on Thursday, March 7, surrounded by her loving family. Left to cherish her precious memories: son, Johnny R. Posey; daughters, Aleshia D. Posey and Sharon L. Reddick; grandchildren, Brandon Posey, Kirby Reddick and Shelton (Alicia) Reddick; great grandchildren, Kirby Reddick, Jr., Kiersten Reddick, Denna Reddick, Ivy Reddick and Cason Reddick. Public visitation will be held Friday, March 15, from 1-8:00 P.M. at Chambers Funeral Home. Family will be present from 6-7:00 P.M. Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 16, 12:00 Noon at 6th Avenue Beulah Baptist Church, Bessemer. Ms. Posey will be laid to rest in Highland Memorial Gardens.
