Helen Jeanette Stanley, 93, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019. She was born May 24, 1925, in Madison County to the late Jesse & Mary (Hiatt) Stoner. Helen graduated from Pendleton High School before working as a bookkeeper at several local businesses. She had proudly worked as a welder on sub machine guns during WWII at Guide Lamp. She was a member of Willow Branch Methodist Church and the Country Harmony Home Ec Club. She enjoyed sewing, weaving, and knitting. Helen is survived by her husband of 73 years, Robert Lynn Stanley; daughter, Karol (husband, Jim) Lindsay; five grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and 7 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel "Danny" Leigh Stanley; three sisters; and two brothers. Services will be officiated by Glen Davis at 2 p.m. Thursday at Willow Branch Methodist Church, 6244 N. Thomas St., Willow Branch. Burial will be at Simmons Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 Wednesday at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

Uncle Lynn, my deepest sympathy is with you and Karol. My you all remember the good times and many years you had together. God has taken her to be with him now. She is at peace and I hope you are knowing she will be there when you are ready.
