Dear Kathy,
As you know, I never met your husband Jeff, and indeed I have never met you. We know each other from working for human rights in Vietnam. May I just say how deeply sorry I feel for your loss. In the photo, Jeff looks such a kind and friendly man, I am sure you shared so much happiness during your 21 years together. I am also deeply moved that you continued your human rights work through his illness, without ever saying a word. As well as expressing my sincere condolences, I wanted to say how much I appreciate the warmth, kindness and generosity you have shared with victims of oppression in Vietnam and other countries, and used your freedom to help win theirs. With warmest regards in this time of sadness,

Jeff Wertenbaker was such a pleasure personality, I am very sorry to hear about him.
When he left CAI, he said he wants to live his life with family.
Jeff-May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.

I worked with Jeff at CAI and he was always willing and eager to impart his experiences and wisdom when it came to computer programming. He helped me and taught me a few tricks along the way. He truly was a good soul. He will be remembered by all who knew him. God Bless Jeff and my sympathies to the family.
