Ronald E. Holt EWING Ronald E. Holt, 75, of Ewing, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was born in Trenton and was a longtime resident of Ewing. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, who enjoyed spending every minute possible with his family and friends. Ronald was known to have an optimistic view of the world as well as an infectious smile. He graduated from Drexel University and went on to become a loyal engineer at Transamerica DeLaval for 34 years. Upon retirement he embarked on a second career, teaching computer science classes at Mercer County Community College and other institutions in the area. During his spare time, he was an amateur radio operator and enjoyed his love for photography. His passion was taking photographs of his family and friends. He adored the family pets, especially Lucky, Tabby, Rosa and Maxx. He was predeceased by his parents, James Earl Holt and Josephine Holt (Duffey). Left to carry on his legacy is his beloved Mame of 55 years, Mary Anne Holt (Boyle); son, Patrick Daniel Holt and his wife, Shelley; daughter, Michelle Kownacky (Holt); brother, Francis Holt; sister, Josephine Fish and her husband, Gordon; loving grandchildren, Kelsey Holt, Taylor Holt, Andrew Kownacky and Kyle Kownacky, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, friends and pets. The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell and Capital Health Regional Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in memory of Ronald to, E.A.S.E.L, 4 Jake Garzio Dr., Ewing, NJ 08628, or to any charity of your choice. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, April 16, from 9 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service to follow, at Murphy Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ. so sorry to hear about Ron. I worked with him at DeLaval for 28 years. Our girls went to school together and played soccer together (Jessica).He will be greatly missed.
