We thought about Frank and Joe today. Lots of memories from Clara's and elsewhere. We lost him far too early. Sending out {{{hugs}}} to Joe K. Frank lives on through the hearts of all that cared and remember him.

I can hardy believe a year has passed.
So much has happened in this year, but none so impactful as losing you.
I miss your quick wit, love and hardy chuckles.
Your light still burns brightly in many...and I find solace in knowing that one day we will reunite for eternity.

I am in total shock - we corresponded via emails and phone calls for years after our relocation from Naperville to Carlsbad. Frank visited with us in 2009 and we saw him on trips to the Midwest.
Hadn't heard anything for a while, so called his cell to learn it was disconnected, then his home phone which still retains his great voice. Finally in desperation, looked up obituary pages - and cannot believe he's been gone these past three months.
The world is a much duller place now - but I retain wonderful memories of trips to auctions and visit to homes that he was working on - as well as dinners and fun conversations.
So sorry I didn't get to say "so long" and to tell him how much he meant to me through the years. I know his spirit lives on in everyone who loved him.

Remembering Frank and all of the fun memories of Wheaton Warrenville swing choir. Although we lost touch, to see his photo-he hadn't changed. Blessings to all of his family and friends. He made a positive lasting impression on many- what better thing to leave behind.

Frankie - my good friend for over 40 years.
You sprayed paint on my clothes in high school theater class yep, that is how we met.
You patiently and enthusiastically kept me and Duke the horse company at Gladstone Farms.
You stood fast as I left Wheaton for four years of college.
You made sure our friendship was never compromised except maybe for that doll under the Christmas tree ; )
You were the best man at my wedding.
You were the best of everything, Frankie joy, strength, determination, humor, kindness, wisdom and energy my goodness the energy!
It is an honor to have known you.
Frankie, I love you and will will always cherish the times we had together.

We've known Frank almost 20 years now. We first met him at Clara's. Kristin used to draw pictures for him when she was 10 or 11. We'll miss his sense of humor and his laugh - and most of all, his friendship.
