Mrs. Lois K. Schemmel

Lois K. Schemmel (nee Kostar), age 89, of Seven Hills, Ohio; beloved wife of Howard Paul Schemmel for 68 years; loving mother of Diane Weber, Donna Maddox (Tom), and Howard Schemmel (Annette); dear grandmother of Krista Weber (Scott Zahniser), Heather Weber, Carrie Frederick (Ryan), Justin Maddox (Jill), Alecia Schemmel, and Sonia Schemmel, and great-grandmother of Joshua, Cooper, Cora, and Dayton. Lois was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked for many years as a legal secretary at the law firm of Jones, Day, Cockley & Reavis in downtown Cleveland. Lois loved spending time with her family, baking, and bird-watching, and she and Howard enjoyed ice-skating and roller-skating together for many years. Lois passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019.
