Joan Wilson, 91, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away on April 29, 2019. She was born on May 31, 1927 to Jesse and Macy Stone in Owensville, Indiana.
Joan was a loving mother and devoted wife. She loved the Lord and taught Sunday school for many years. Joan was a hairdresser for 40 years. She loved working out of her home so that she could spend as much time as she could with her family. Joan also enjoyed knitting and loved birds.
Joan is survived by her children Larry K. (Carolyn) Wilson of Stuart, FL, Lou Ann Wilson of Louisville, KY, and Penni S. (Dennis) Williamson of Haubstadt, IN; her grandchildren Keith, David, and Beth Wilson, Ruth Ann Wilson, Lee and Jordan Williamson; and five great-grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Roy Wilson; her son Jerry L. Wilson; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 2nd at Sunset Funeral Home with an entombment to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Heart to Heart Hospice.
