The River
In Memory of Guy LaChance
We often take for granted
our time upon this earth,
and not until we suffer loss,
do we consider what that time is worth.
Time is like a river,
ever flowing through our days,
and upon it's eternal waters,
we are merely castaways.
For no matter how we chart our course,
The River has its own design,
and as we drift upon its current
our souls are intertwined.
And as The River changes course,
it ascends unto a higher plane,
and enters a tranquil valley,
where forever our immortal souls remain.
And there, in this tranquil valley I believe, we are re-united
with those loved ones that have journeyed on before,
and upon the peaceful banks of The River,
we will rejoice forever more.
The River is a concept of my mind
that flows from an unknown source.
It gives me a sense of great contentment,
when grief and sorrow present their force.
I believe life is never-ending,
and beyond our earthly days,
there lies so much more.
The River has blessed us with peace and comfort,
and I pray it does the same for you and yours.
with greatest sympathy,
Betty & Eric Weatherbee

I can't describe in words the shock and sadness I felt when I heard the news about Guy's passing. I can't imagine your pain as his loved family you are feeling. I had the privilege of working with Guy on the Channel Management team and I was lucky to be on his team. He was passionate about his work, funny, super smart, humble, and kind all rolled into one great French Canadian. Of course, his channel partners loved him.

Still staggered by this news. Guy was in a class by himself as a colleague and friend. I will probably never again work with someone who had the perfect and unique combination of total competence, earnestness, and humanity as he had. A rare man indeed. He meant a lot to me and I only worked with him peripherally. I can't really imagine the loss his family and close friends are feeling.

So incredibly sorry for your loss. The Lechance family has been our kindest neighbors for many years as we raised our children and watched them set out on their own. Our hearts and prayers are with Patti, Marc, and Danielle (and the whole family). Much Love, Lisa, George, Megan, Brittany, and Juliana.
