Constance "Connie" Marie Hansen

Constance "Connie" Marie Hansen, age 65, of McHenry passed away on May 26, 2019 at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born in Cincinnati, OH on October 1, 1953 the daughter of Robert Leo and Ruth Constance Smith. She married the love of her life Gary Hansen on October 16, 1971 at St. Paul of the Cross Church. Connie is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years Gary; her 3 children Theresa Havard, Gregory Hansen and Kimberly (Tim) Calusinski; her grandchildren; Michelene Havard, Alex and Troy Turner; her siblings; Kathleen (Martin) Helmer, Paul (Gail) Smith, Patricia Jefferson, Brian (Anna Olearnik) Smith, Geoffrey (Shannon Vance) Smith, Mark (Marky) Smith, Marie (Charles Snowdy) Smith, Margo (Richard) Griffin, Phyllis (sister-in-law) Smith; her nieces and nephews; Erin, Max and Quinn Helmer, Margaret Smith, Stephanie Jefferson, Stacey and Michael Smith, Joseph Escareno, Brian Griffin and Micah Stewart. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Kevin Smith and her nephew Thomas Helmer. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 11:00am to 2:00pm with Funeral Service beginning at 1:30pm at Colonial Funeral Home 591 Ridgeview Dr. McHenry IL. There will be a short visitation on Monday June 3, 2019 also at the funeral home from 9:00am to 10:00am followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in McHenry IL.
