Timothy J. Whalen

Timothy was born on July 13, 1936 and passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Timothy was a resident of Charleston, Illinois at the time of passing. Tim started school at the one room Mullins school house adjacent to his farm and graduated from Charleston High School in 1954 and Eastern Illinois University in 1959. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Adams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:45 p.m. Tim's Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 921 Madison Avenue in Charleston, where Tim was a lifelong member. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and left at the visitation/funeral mass or mailed to Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston, IL 61920. to view Family Memorial Video. The Mass of Christian Burial for Timothy Whalen was held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Father John Titus officiating and Deacon Jeff Beals assisting. Burial followed in Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston. A Prayer Service was held at the close of visitation at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday evening with Deacon Jeff Beals officiating. Adams Funeral.
