Ethel Louise "Nanny" Brown, 76, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, wife of Bruce Wayne Brown entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service. Nan was born January 23, 1943 in Asheville, North Carolina, daughter of the late Oscar Monroe Ingle and Mary Ethel Swann Ingle. Nan loved to shop; whether it was online (for QVC bling searches!), at the local Goodwill or even at the grocery store. As the youngest of 11 children, Nan grew up with a strong family bond. In her adult years, she enjoyed cooking for and spending time with her beloved family. She was known for and loved wearing her BLING, and it was often a topic of conversation with friends and those she met. Nan will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Bruce; two daughters, Angela Warren and her husband Roger of Goose Creek, SC and Terri Sharp and her husband Ken of Goose Creek, SC; five grandchildren: Ashley Wiggins of Goose Creek, SC, Paul Hodges of Casper, WY, Stephen Sharp of Ladson, SC, Matthew Warren of CO, Megan Warren of Goose Creek, SC; three great-grandchildren: two sisters, Alice Sluder of Fairview, NC and Peggy Scully of Fairview, NC; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and many of her beloved siblings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nan's name to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC, 29605.
