Mr. Kevin James Scott Jr.

Kevin Scott, Jr., 37, passed away Saturday, July 20. He was born August 14, 1981 in Union, the son of Kevin and Judith Scott. He attended Woodbridge schools and graduated from Colonia High School in 1999. He was currently residing in Sewaren, NJ with his girlfriend Meagan Shann and their 3 cats Oliver, AJ, and Cheeto. Kevin enjoyed watching sports, his favorite teams being the Yankees, Rangers and Jets. He loved having his family over for football Sunday, spending time in his pool, and fishing at Lake George. He was a connoisseur of festivals and enjoyed attending them with friends and family. He was a wonderful and enthusiastic uncle to his 3 year-old nephew Finnegan, who loving called him Uncle Bacon. Kevin is survived by his mother, Judith Scott, girlfriend, Meagan Shann, his brother Timothy Scott, his sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Stephen Hoydis and his nephew Finnegan Hoydis. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Ruth Jones, and his paternal grandmother, Clare Scott. He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Scott. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Gray Memorial Funeral Home in Cranford. Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 23 from 4-8 PM. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 24 at 11 AM.
