DAVENPORT-Funeral services to celebrate the life of Sharlette I. Stoltenberg, 89, of Davenport, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, August 1, 2019 at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. A private burial will follow on Friday in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the mortuary. Mrs. Stoltenberg died surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at the Silvercrest Assisted Living Center in Davenport.
Sharlette Irene Lueth was born on April 1, 1930 in Dixon, IA, the daughter of Charles and Rachel (Hughes) Lueth. Following her graduation from high school she married William "Bud" Stoltenberg in May of 1955. He preceded her in death in June of 1994. Mrs. Stoltenberg worked as a cook at the former Riefes Restaurant for 41 years retiring in 1990. She then began her own business, Klass Crafts which she owned and operated until 2005.
She is survived by - a Daughter: Storm Beck of Huntington Beach, CA; a Son: Steve (Luana) Stoltenberg of Davenport; Grandson: Zachary Stoltenberg of Davenport, 2 Brothers: Jack (Carol) Lueth of Davenport and John (Rhonda) Lueth of Lebanon, OR;, and her fur baby Skipper.
Preceding her in death are her Parents; her Husband, Bill; 2 Sons: James and Chuck; and 2 Brothers: William and Michael.
