DAHINDA - Marcy Kelley (Ellerbrock) Hennenfent died at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on Sunday, July 28, 2019.
She was born Thursday, May 2, 1974, to Harold and Margene (McWilliams) Kelley in Galesburg. Marcy had a sister, Pat (and Kent) Willard of Bloomington; and a brother, Duane Kelley of Kewanee. Marcy loved her niece, nephews and great-nephews.
Marcy had a love for horses that led her life down many trails. She attended Williamsfield High School, Black Hawk East and Western Illinois University.
For 15 years, Marcy worked for Ultimate Finish alongside her best friend. Throughout her life Marcy developed many friendships that she greatly cherished.
After nine years of building a life together, Marcy married Matt Hennenfent on Saturday, July 27, 2019. Being called Mrs. Hennenfent brought a smile to her face every time. They lived and loved "30 years in 30 hours."
In lieu of sympathy cards, Mr. Matt and Mrs. Marcy Hennenfent would request that wedding cards be sent to their home, 1954 U.S. Highway 150 East, Dahinda, IL 61428.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019, at Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home & Crematory in Knoxville. Memorial contributions may be made to March to the Arch, 784 E. Northside Drive, Pilot Point, TX 76258. March to the Arch is a cancer benefit horse show that raises money for cancer research. Sending much love to Marcy's family and especially Matt. I met Marcy years ago at Bob Lindsay Honda, we became quick friends. We shared the love of good country living and animals. Marcy always had a smile. She will be missed.
