Veronica Tschosik

Veronica Tschosik, age 78 of Rock Falls, died Tuesday, August 06, 2019 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling. Veronica was born on October 12, 1940 in Sterling, the daughter of Edward and Lucille (Whaley) Grennan. She married Edward Tschosik on September 5, 1964 at St. Andrew in Rock Falls. Veronica owned and operated The Bridal Path in Sterling for about 15 years. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls. Veronica was very faith filled, a wonderful baker, a great seamstress and cherished the time she spent with her family. Survivors include her husband, Ed; six children, Brian (Kathy) Tschosik of Decatur, Mary (Scott) Brelsfoard of Normal, Stephen (Cindy) Tschosik of Downers Grove, Monica (David) Sanders of Rock Falls, Jeffrey (Janet) Tschosik of Wichita, KS and Michelle (Philip) McKinley of Normal; fourteen grandchildren, Michael, Breeanna and Nick Tschosik; Katie (Brandon) Graybeal; Emily (Greg) Rogers; Hope, Luke and Zack Tschosik; Clare, Bridget and Charlie Sanders; Evan and Bethany Tschosik and Morgan McKinley; one great grandson, Michael Rogers; six sisters, Carlene Jenner of Sterling, Suzanne McCormick of Geneva, Joan Goncalves of Canada, Kathleen (Charlie) Hurches of MI, Bernadette (Matt) Hermes of Dixon and Rosemary (Bruce) Buckert of Sterling; three brothers, Eugene (Peggy) Grennan of Rock Falls, John Grennan of AR and Terry (Rosemary) Grennan of Rock Falls; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls with the Rosary recited at 3:30 P.M. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church or Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling.
