I am so sorry to lose such a fun loving person from this life. Tom is the type of person that when you think of him you automatically smile. Tom was fun to work with. He always had a positive comment and helped to lift you up when feeling bad. There's not enough people that I can say that about. My thoughts and prayers go with him and his loved one. I m so sorry. Just remember the un times and the good times. He always had that twinkle in his eye. The sun will shine less bright but those stars will shine brighter.Love and Prayers to you all.

Tommy worked across the hall from Cas and me. We were in Building Adminstration. Tom was in Engineering. He'd drop by and chat with us and we'd laugh and cut up for a few moments. He took any stress right out of the day. Then I saw him in action with our colleagues in London during my time in Quality Assurance meetings. As tension was rising, Tom would tell us how he was just a simple farmer or something like that, and we would listen to his logical way of looking at the issue. He was so smart and so familiar with the problem being spoken about, but he never wanted to make a person feel incorrect. He just made everybody tell their story and then equalized the room, so to speak. He was gifted in getting to the heart of the matter and then on to the solution. He possessed a joy of life. He could not help but pass it on with his wit, his intelligence and perseverance. I will speak for Casimir Mroz as well as myself in saying 'we're glad to have known him'. Cas always used to call him 'a real gentleman'. And Cas was a decorated Marine from the Korean Conflict. I agree with Cas and add ' a gentleman and a scholar'.
