Brian Clark Condit-Gonzales
Cathedral City - 42 year Companion, Friend and Spouse of John M. Gonzales of Cathedral City, California, passed from Johns' arms into those of his Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday August 8, 2019 at 12:10pm at his home.
Brian was born on Christmas Eve 1960 and was adopted and nurtured, until their death, by Dr. Leonard Orville Condit MD. and his wife Sara. Brian grew up in the Burbank, Glendale Area until his purchase of a new home and subsequent move to the Palm Springs area which he loved.
He was a graduate of Hoover High, class of 1977, attended and graduated from Loyola Marymount Jr. College in Palos Verdes Estates, Loyola Marymount University in Westchester (Philosophy), California State University, Dominguez Hills (Masters in Business Administration). Earned Federal Licensing with a Series 7, 63 and 66 in the Securities Profession.
Brian leaves behind his "Family of Choice", his "Big Sis" Irene Gonzales-Navarrette, his Brother In Law Pete, who was his Buddy and Pool Table nemesis in Kernville, his "Mama, Erika Esther, and his "Little Sis" Mercedes Esther-Segall (Eric). Their Love of Brian and his for them was unconditional.
Brian also had and Loved his "Extended Family" in the South Bay. Captain Mal Virjees and Linda Virjees who visited him at both Cedar Sinai Hospital and at his home, visits he sincerely appreciated as he did their invitation to their 60th, Wedding Anniversary, The Ranselaar Family, William, Maya Grant and Luke who also visited him and spent private time with him and made him feel loved. Maya he always laughed that you two were always put to the side at some gatherings.
Brians' legacy is his ability to love, even when ignored, his laugh, which was infectious and child like, his expressive beautiful blue eyes and most importantly, his deep belief in GOD, faith in his Saviour, even in the agony he experienced, and finally his love of nature, hiking, biking, swimming, music and all kinds of animals.
Bri-Bri, as those who loved him knew him, passed peacefully and quietly cuddled in my arms, head on my chest with Mom Erika, Mercedes and his Devoted little dog Ben, at his bedside.
