Now I am dealing with Mr. Argiro's passing. From August up until now I had an unforeseen injury which then led to major surgery and months of physical therapy. I have known Mr. Argiro since I was a student at South Junior High School in Hingham. Every day he would always say to me "Good Morning, young lady!" that alone would put a smile on my smile and last the entire day. He would always ask how is my father. I think of all the short talks we had between classes in the hallways at SJH. Sometimes, he would ask me what school subjects I liked the best. And I told him that I just love learning about History, Art, and Spanish. Then he turned to me and said "You are a bright, smart young lady and I see wonderful adventures for you in the future" And he was right!
I remember his caring nature and his personality! He is truly one of a kindI I will always remember Mr. Argiro! I will miss him dearly.

When my family moved to Hingham in October of 1967, I was in 8th grade. Mr. Argiro (even at 65 I can't imagine calling him Frank) was one of the first people I met. He was kind and cheerful to me, which shouldn't have been a surprise as he was that way towards everyone.
I don't think I ever told him how much his kindness meant to a scared kid on his first day at a new school, but I wish I had.
Whenever I went back to SJH to vote or coach or whatever, I always hoped to see him and sometimes I did. He always had a smile.
Rest in Peace, Mr, Argiro and my most sincere condolences and sympathy to his family and loved ones.
He was a jewel.
