Mrs. Mary Werling

Mary B. Werling (nee Brennan), 84, of Avon Lake passed away peacefully Friday, October 18, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born August 29, 1929 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of the late John and Alice (nee McAvoy) Brennan. Loving wife to the late George H. Werling, loving mother of George Werling (Joni), Timothy Werling, Laurie Zoerner (Mark), Heidi MacIntyre (Bernie), Lisa Mitchell (Mark), Jill Quinn (George), Tom Werling (Kathleen), Becky Uszak (Michael) and the late twin daughters; grandmother of 22 and great grandmother of 6. Sister of the late Margaret Koeth, Alice Fisher and Bill Brennan. Special aunt to many nephews and nieces. Mary raised her 8 children in Rocky River were she was very involved in the PTA, a home manager that loved bowling, playing cards, her friends and being her children's biggest fan at their sporting events. She moved to Avon Lake 7 years ago and lived the past year at Independence Village where she absolutely loved the social life, made many close friends that she enjoyed playing card games, volleyball, and spending happy hour time sharing stories and jokes. Memorial gathering at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake Friday, November 29 from 3:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 4:00pm.
