William W. “Bill” Willette, 68, a former longtime resident of the Fairview section of Chicopee, passed into Eternal Life on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Holyoke Health Care Center, surrounded by his family. He was born in Holyoke on October 25, 1950, the son of the late Harvey E. and Rita A. (Bolduc) Willette. He was raised in Fairview, graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School and lived in Chicopee most of his life. He was formerly employed as a machinist at Mold-Tech in the Willimansett section of Chicopee. He leaves two children, Robin H. Willette of Chicopee and Aaron M. Willette and his wife, Mary, of Brooklyn, NY; granddaughter, Tiersen Willette-Lopez of Chicopee; four siblings, Viola M. Bunnell and her husband, William, of South Hadley, Barbara A. Willette of Chicopee, Kenneth R. Willette and his wife, Lorrie of Ware and Ann Willette-Anderson of Frederick, MD; his former wife, Deborah L. (Swol) Willette of Chicopee. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Harvey E. Willette. Memorial donations be made in his memory to the Friends of the Homeless, 755 Worthington Street, Springfield, MA 01105. To the Willette Family - especially Vi, Ken, Barbara and Ann Marie: My prayers to all of you on your loss. Growing up as neighbors in Fairview, I can remember Billy as a sweet young boy. In this photo, he looks so much like his dad, Harvey. Wonderful memories.
