Neil Van Sickle Obituary

Neil was born on July 8, 1915 and passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019. In 1940 he attended the Air Corps Flying School, graduating as a pilot in 1941. He served as Chief of Operations of the Yukon Air Division, Alaskan Air Command, Chief of Aircraft Programming Division, Headquarters, U.S Air Force, Washington, D.C., Commander, 28th Bombardment Wing, Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, as Chief of Operations and later Chief of Staff, U.S. Taiwan Defense Command, where he was promoted to Brigadier General. There will be a luncheon at the church following the memorial service followed by graveside service at Conrad Memorial Cemetery. If you so choose, please make donations in memory of Neil D. Van Sickle to your local Boys and Girls Club.
