Christine Rose Andrejko, age 94, passed away peacefully in Meadowbrook, PA on October 31st, 2019. She at was born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania May 18, 1925, and was the daughter of Constantine and Teodora (nee Dombrowski) Cilwick. Christine graduated from James M. Coughlin High School; Wilkes Barre, PA. Christine was the devoted wife of the late Michael, married over 49 years. She was the beloved mother of Michael (wife Ann) Andrejko, Martin "Marty" (wife Kathleen) Andrejko and the late Robert Andrejko. She will be sadly missed by her grandson Paul and by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Hunzer, Bridget Konczynski, Frances Cilwik and by her brothers Chester and Bernard Cilwik She was a retired Church Secretary, who worked for Maternity BVM, Philadelphia, PA, St. Edward, and St Paul's Parish in E. Norriton, PA. Christine enjoyed Collecting Stamps and postcards, working in her garden; taking care of her roses, exploring flea markets, travelling and researching her family's genealogy. Relatives and Friends are invited to Christine's Life Celebration Saturday; November 9th, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:30am at St Christopher Church, 13301 Procter Road, Philadelphia, PA and to participate in her Funeral Mass at 10:30. Her interment will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery; Langhorne, PA. Memorial Contributions may be made in Christine's memory to Cares of St. Mary, 1201 Langhorne – Newtown Rd., Langhorne, PA 19047. Aunt Chris was like family to all of us Zikoses. She was kind and funny. I will always be grateful for her visits to my mother, when Mom moved to NY State's North Country. My condolences to Marty and Kathy, and all of her family.
