Mrs. Eleanor "Ellie" (nee Spahr) Giles

Eleanor "Ellie" Giles (nee Spahr) age 102 of Roselle Park passed away at her residence on Sunday November 3, 2019. Relatives and friends are invited to Ellie's visitation on Friday November 8, 2019 from 10:00AM -1:00PM at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, where her funeral service will begin at 12:30PM Friday. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Mrs. Giles later became a resident of Roselle Park in 1943. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband the late George W. Giles in 1993. She was retired from Chubb & Son, Inc. as an Agency Service Representative in 1984. Mrs. Giles was a Past Matron of Atlas Chapter No. 99 and a dual member of Azure Chapter No. 87 in Cranford, Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey, and has served the Order since 1941. She is survived by her son, George David Giles, two daughters: Mrs. Joan Breen of Brick, NJ, and Mrs. Eleanor "Peachie" Attonito of Fort Myers, FL, four granddaughters, three grandsons, and 17 great grandchildren.
