Mass is on Monday for Union centenarian
Leo Joseph Krahel, 100, of Union, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019 at the Autumn Lake Healthcare, Berkeley Heights, N.J.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019 from 2 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019 at Holy Spirit Church, Union, N.J., at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Such a wonderful person, always cheerful with a nice word for everyone. Leo was a teacher of mine many years ago in Irvington and much later on a neighbor when we moved to Union. He was such a good friend to my mom and uncle and all the folks at Holy Spirit. The world could use more people like Leo.
