Dear Rachel-- I just heard from Ruth Vaill of Perry's passing. You are in my thoughts. My family was close to the
Ball family since the 1930's. I worked with Perry on several family matters over the past year or so and then more recently with you. Beyond our actual work--------I enjoyed our conversations. He knew things I wanted to know.
He was bright and had a quiet sense of humor. I had looked forward to further talks with him.

Rachel and Larry,
I am sorry to her the news of Perry's passing. Of course I always think of Nanie and our time seeing you all hard at work in the stores. Those memories will always be with me and I cherish them forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Rae in this difficult time.
