Steven Thomas Weatherly, 47, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019. He was born on June 29, 1972, in Fairhope, Alabama, and was the son of Clarence "Bubba" Weatherly and Evelyn Hatch. Steven worked as a mechanic in his early years and eventually worked for Ford. He enjoyed his time with Ford which offered him an opportunity to travel and learn more about the Ford Company. He was currently employed with Austal as a pipefitter where he also enjoyed traveling and learning more about his profession. He had been employed approximately 6 years. When not working, Steven enjoyed spending time on his boat fishing or at home with his family watching Auburn football. WAR EAGLE ! Steven is preceded in death by his father, Bubba Weatherly. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Hatch, wife of 24 years, Wendy Black Weatherly, sons, Austin Weatherly and wife, Amanda of Knoxville, TN and Thomas Weatherly. He is also survived by his three grandbabies; Jayden, Jaxyn and Rylean Weatherly, three sisters; Debra Strahan (Farrell), Joel Ammons, Jill Nettles (Scott), several nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the conclusion of the chapel service in the reception room, Rue Dauphine. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
