I just found out about Pat's passing. Pat cut my hair for the first time on my wedding day in 1978, and for 34 years hence. He also cut both my sons' hair. I always looked forward to sitting in his chair and trading stories and jokes. Our profound sympathy to Sherlee, Ryan and Colin and their families for the loss of a great husband, father and grandfather. Sincerely, The Vario Family; Steve, Corinne, Chris & Austin. Pat will be missed. He always made me look 10 years younger on the chair. And he was a great lunch buddy downstairs in the hotel cafeteria. I will miss chatting with you on exacta, trifectas, and superfectas at the Hotel or the latest in sports. Rest in Peace.

We are so very sorry to hear of Pat's passing - such a kind, funny, and all -around true gem in so many ways. We enjoyed our Riley/Billy pick-ups at your home and loved knowing that our grandkids were in Pat & Sherlee's care - they're very lucky and will never forget those days that go by so quickly. Our very deepest sympathy - cherish the memories.

I've enjoyed Pat's infectious smile and witty stories on a monthly basis for the last 32 years as I got my hair cut in the barber chair next to his. The world has lost a special soul and I consider myself blessed to have known him. My condolences to Pat's family, friends, and all who will miss his presence in this world. Gone too soon...

May the Lord hold you close to him for eternity. May HE watch over your wife Shirlee and your entire family both near and far.
I graduated with Pat in the class of '65. However, after several years attending college, I moved away and lost track of everyone. RIP my classmate, RIP.
May the Lord hold you near him for eternity. May He also watch over your wife Shirlee and your entire extended family both near and far. John deBuren-Gelbert.

I sat behind Pat for four years in home room and we shared many stories I remained in touch through email where he shared so many jokes and cartoons
He was one proud Irishman and a great guy. My life was enriched by knowing him
I was so looking forward to seeing him at the annual class of 65 Xmas lunch where I learned of his illness

There will be no greeter in the morning and asks if there is still hot coffee available in the lobby and if there is still USA today left? The back lobby area (sofa) where you always sit will never be the same without you because it will be empty forever. Rest now my brother. Thank you for sharing your biggest smile.I will miss the Lemons that you always bring at the hotel and most of all my yearly chocolate fudge that you and your wife always bake every Christmas.

Pat, you are greatly missed! Your sunny smile, big heart and hilarious jokes! The way you chuckled at your own jokes...trips to the Monterey coast, not to mention the road trip to Arizona which was a highlight! All of these things enriched by dear friend, Sherlee, who shared your time by including me! Love to the wonderful Boyle family!
