He was by far always with a smile for everyone. A kind man , a loving man. Skeetz, was one of the most giving decent people I have met in my live time. He will live in our hearts with that cute endless smile. I will not to sad when I think of him instead I will think of how lucky I was to have known Skeetz... I will smile instead just thinking of his smile. His footprint on this earth was gentle and good.

Al, or more commonly known to us simply as "Skeets," was a life long friend of the Lewis/Wellcome family. In fact, he went to Waltham Senior High School with my Mom, Dorothy Wellcome - WHS Class of 1947. Skeets was present at every important event in our lives, and was especially close to my sister Laurie Lewis and her daughters, Jennifer and Jeanne. To say his presences in our lives was important and cherished would be an understatement. Skeets was the epitome of a world class gentleman, unsurpassed in his generosity, and will be sorely missed by us and all who had the privilege to know him.

When I lost my Mom, my best friend, on August 15, 2010, I wrote: "Grief, is the remembrance of love, which began with a smile, grew with a kiss and unforgettable hugs, and ended with wonderful memories and tears." In fact, my unsurpassed love for my Mom, motivated me to change my surname from Lewis to Wellcome, when I remarried in 2013, in honor of her and my maternal grandparents who raised me and my eight siblings.

I trust Skeets will go high enough in heaven to touch the face of God.

May these words comfort the entire LeLievre family at this unimaginable time in their lives.

Warmest personal regards,

Christopher (Lewis) Wellcome
