As faculty members who often taught in Craig's building, we always delighted to bump into Craig, maybe coming into the building or getting a cup of coffee in the cafe, for we could count on his warm smile and his sincere, uplifting fellowship to brighten our day. Of course he was also a brilliant problem-solver, and it was marvelous to watch his career unfold at Haverford as a lovely blend of skill, learning, and understanding. Above all, it was clear that he loved the people closest to him, his beautiful daughters and fiancé, and his whole family. He brought light into the world, and it--and we--will miss its brightness. We extend our deepest sympathies to his colleagues, friends, and family. --Kim & Sue Benston

I worked with Craig almost as long as he was at Haverford. During that time, I do not recall him ever saying an unkind word to/or about anyone. It is so sad and heartbreaking that he has left this earth so soon. I am very sorry for your loss. May his memory forever be a blessing.

Although I knew Craig for only a year, I quickly noticed what a thoughtful and considerate man he was. He was always willing to give a hand and would go that extra mile to get something done. He is a light that will truly be missed.
My thoughts and prayers go to his loved ones, his daughters Sophia and Sadie, his siblings, and his fiancé.

One of the downsides of moving our department to another building was not having chance meetings with Craig in the hall. He was such a bright spirit, always will to stop and chat which I appreciated. I also appreciated all of our professional dealings. As you can imagine, when one calls IT, its usually because something has gone wrong and the level of anxiety and frustration can be high. Craig's calm demeanor was a welcome salve. He was unflappable and got things done. I can only imagine how he will be missed by those who held him close to their hearts. My condolences to you all at this time.

I worked with Craig at Haverford College for just about as long as he was here, and knew him to be a kind, gentle, and thoughtful man. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, and was always willing to take on extra work, himself, if it meant making someone else's workload lighter. He was a great guy to work with, and loved his daughters with all of his heart.

He will be missed here, but his compassion and consideration for others will be a memory that we will all strive to carry on.

Condolences to all.
