Michael W. Keele

Michael W. Keele, age 61, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Michael was born April 15, 1958 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to William and Margaret Keele. Michael graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia, Missouri in 1976. Upon graduation, he entered the United States Army and served at numerous duty stations in the United States and overseas. He was honorably discharged after twenty-one years of service in July of 1997. After his military service Michael received an associate's degree of Applied Science in 2006. In 2011, Michael and wife Chrystal bought their home in Bulverde, Texas. He most recently worked as a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor at Fed-Ex shipping. Michael or "Mike" as his friends and family knew him by, was a kind-hearted man with a contagious smile. He never seemed to meet a stranger. He had a witty sense of humor and enjoyed laughing with those around him. Mike was a Tennessee Titans fan, lover of animals and enjoyed the outdoors. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Keele. He is survived by his wife, Chrystal Krannich-Keele, son, Gabriel Keele (Andrea); daughters, Amanda Harris (Nate), Stephanie Berry (Scott), and Janice Keele; step-daughter, Reagen Lee (Russell); step-son, Brett Bledsoe (Angie); 10 grandchildren; sisters, Margie Keele-Evans and Jane Keele-Chancellor (Jim); and numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2020, at Porter Loring Mortuary North. SERVICE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2020 12:00 PM PORTER LORING NORTH CHAPEL 2102 NORTH LOOP 1604 EAST Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Barry, John Barry, William Galvan, Brandon Ramos, Andy Rapstine and Chris Rapstine. Honorary Pallbearer is Jim Chancellor.
