Gary E. Coughlan

Gary E. Coughlan 63 of Langhorne passed away on February 6, 2020. Loving father of Matthew A. Coughlan, Daniel P. Coughlan, Kerriann M. Coughlan and Kevin D. Coughlan. Dear brother of Roger Coughlan (Janice), David Coughlan (the late Melissa), Stephen Coughlan (Kathleen) and Joanne Hart (Jim). Friend and former husband of Ann M. Dietrich-Coughlan. Gary grew up in Abington PA, son of Roger and Ruth Coughlan. Early in life Gary was a very creative and thoughtful person and loved animals. In high school, he was a tenor in the Abington Presbyterian Church choir. After high school, Gary attended The State University of Pennsylvania, main campus where he studied liberal arts. He built a long and successful career as real estate agent in the lower Buck's County area, with his first position at Kramer Real Estate. He was passionate about his profession and loved making connections with the people who he helped find their dream house. He was an avid beach-goer, spending many summers by the ocean swimming, sunbathing, and going to the boardwalk. Gary was a man about town spending time in New York City hanging out with friends, shopping, and catching a show. He was his happiest spending time with his 4 children and many friends, cooking dinner at his house and entertaining. He was a very special person that had a uniquely dry sense of humor and was able to make everyone in the room laugh. He made an indelible mark on the world and positive impact on the people around him. There's no one like Gary and we will miss him dearly. Relatives and friends are invited to Gary's Life Celebration, Wednesday February 12, 2020 after 9:00AM at Dunn Givnish of Langhorne, 378 S. Bellevue Ave with his Funeral Service starting at 11:00AM. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations in Gary's memory may be made to American Heart Association. All are invited to lunch after the funeral service at La Stalla in Newtown PA.
