To Bills wife and family,
Billy took care of my whole family for years. Two years ago laying to rest my dad, Bill Sabino, who was a lifelong friend of Billy's. Dad was insistent Celentano Funeral home would be his final resting place. Billy was there every step of the way, right to the graveside service. An incredible friend, humanitarian, civic leader, family man and loss to the New Haven Community. May he rest in peace as he is reunited with all who went before him.

I would like to express my sincere and deepest sympathy in your loss. Bill was not only a gentleman, a professional, but my friend. He serviced pretty much my entire family from my in-laws to my own father and sister. As Fire Commissioner, Bill loved the Fire Service and I was blessed to have his support as a firefighter and as Chief of Department. May God Bless You and Keep You Gigi and the family during this time of sorrow. May Bill Rest In Peace.

Sincere condolences. Bill was very helpful to me in compiling information on the history of the Amity Club of New Haven when I chaired our 75th Anniversary Reunion in 2011. Could not have been more accommodating and gracious. We will miss him greatly.

What a tremendous loss for the City of New Haven and especially the Cape Verdean Community--He loved our community and we loved him...so many of our family funerals were handled by him. The funerals of both my mother and father were aptly handled by Mr. Celetano, and my children and I will never forget his kindness, compassion, love and professionalism. I did love Mr. Celentano, and so sad he is gone from our lives.

I remember he was so excited to learn that my daughter and I visited the Cape Verde Islands and he really wanted to see my journal of the trip. He said he so enjoyed reading it--that made me feel so good...just one of those moments you never forget.

I pray God's strength and blessings on his family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

My Sincere and deepest condolences to the Celentano Family. Bill and I met many years before 1986 when I became his insurance agent. We had a great business and personal relationship as he always treated me with such kindness and respect. He took such great care of my mother's side of the family, I don't know what Uncle Lou is going to do... My family and I love you Bill and will miss you more than words can say! Rest in Peace my dear friend, you were always a true gentlemen and a class act!! Until we meet again...
