Loved Lorne & Joyce. When I was a teen in Marion my Aunt and Uncle were charter members of his church. I was just 12 when I led the music at a revival with him. I married and moved to Toronto, they came to Canada District. A fun reunion. When my children were pre-teens Rev MacMillian preached my husband's funeral, they were there for us when we needed support. Thank you for your faithfulness and care.

Uncle Lorne was almost a legend in our family. My Mom, Elizabeth, always had stories about him and his brothers. She was in touch quite often, and would always let everyone know how Uncle Lorne & Aunt Joyce were doing. It felt good to know there were men like this in the world, and that I was part of the family, no matter how distant.

To my Uncle Lorne's Family , Your Dad was a wonderful Uncle to me. He was always ready and willing to listen when I phoned. He was never too busy to give an encouraging word of praise. He always said that he loved his family, thanks for sharing that love with me. My condolence for your loss. Heaven is richer.

Judy and I have fond memories of Lorne MacMillan. He was one of a generation of church leaders whose example gave us (of the next generation) a model and example of Christian leadership. Forever thankful.

Wonderful memories of both Lorne & Joyce when he was my DS and I pastored in Brampton. Enjoyed working with him on the district advisory board. A wonderful christian gentleman and leader.

Sending our sympathies to the family from Elmsdale, Prince Edward Island. We remember Lorne and many fond memories when he was our District Superintendent in Canada Central. We remember in particular the family camp in 1986 when the glory fell in the tabernacle as the speaker spoke about our future glory! I never seen Lorne so blessed, walking back and forth on the camp stage shouting Glory! That which he celebrated and longed for at that service has now become a reality for him and we Give God The Glory! Until we meet again! Your fellow servants of Christ, Pastors Betty and Mike Zita, Elmsdale Church Of the Nazarene.
