James Russell Higgins

James Russell Higgins, born on May 17, 1929 in Clinton Iowa, peacefully passed away in Surprise Arizona on April 30, 2020 at the age of 90. He is preceded in death by his wife Virginia, his parents Russell and Marianne, his siblings Robert, Shirley and Karen. Five years after Graduating from Clinton High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served during the Korean War as a B36 tail gunner. Jim enjoyed a rich and vital life as a truck driver, pilot, motorcycle enthusiast and finally enjoyed retirement in Desert Hot Springs Ca, Yuma AZ, Tillamook Oregon and Surprise, Arizona. Jim will be laid to rest on June 19, 2020 at Riverside Memorial Cemetery in California with a military service.
